A Possibility Again

Israel and Syria must mend their ways and not bicker as they have been doing through the last few years, and even earlier. Most nations in the Middle-East must accept peace as a proposition of living and give each other the political freedom that is required to be peaceful. Peace must remain a priority in the region that has been kept disturbed due to religious antagonism. Israel must accept more responsibility and repose its trust in politics. The government of Israel should work through the political difficulties and make way for peace in the Middle-East. The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine has killed thousands and made more homeless in the region that has been lacking in political trust.

The Middle-East as a region should focus on keeping its peace intact and develop its economy. Men and women garner their interests through economy and peaceful conditions of life. The life that the disturbed region has should be placated, and more men and women should be occupied in productive work rather than in hate-filled conflicts that have no foreseeable end. Economic development should be made a hallmark of development in the region and must be given political priority by the international community, after sustained peace. Israel and Syria have been mired in conflict for many decades and old fire of conflict might become a possibility again. Israel must abide by international norms to achieve the aims of sustained peace.

Israel should maintain peace, and not breach international norms which become a requisite for a peaceful region. All regions that are peaceful sustain their peace through mutual co-operation and not through sinister design of a nation. The same principle applies to the Middle-East, and relations between Israel and Syria. Most recently Israel has been accused of entering Syria’s borders with due intention of attacking Iran’s missile manufacturing site. Israel must abide by international norms and use international agencies to curb augmented military design by Syria and Iran.

International agencies must be used by nations in the Middle-East to curb new conflicts and end any illegitimate military storage and manufacturing facilities. Israel should be more cautious and approach the political issue with due regard to international norms and practices. Israel shoulder responsibility in the Middle-East and not give-in to the hard diktats of the times. More emphasis must be laid on responsible politics in the region, and should be given the attention that it ought to deserve.
