The Impetuous Deportation of Migrants

The United States of America has decided to impose tariffs on Colombia. It comes with a migrant surprise, wherein Colombian migrants would be deported without any due course to law. The US government must treat migrants from Colombia with respect that human dignity imposes on all nations and citizens. They must not be politically diffident with the migrants and use their legitimate authority without due course to law. The migrants in the United States must have their rights. They come to the United States in order to work. The land that claims liberty should be liberal enough to treat Colombian migrants with utmost respect that difficult circumstances demand out of a government.

The government must ponder over the economic contribution that they make, and must work in order to give the requisite visas that they must have. Most illegal migrants in the United States contribute towards the burgeoning of US economy. They must be treated with kindness and all tardiness that contributes towards politicking must be avoided. Trade barriers, on the one hand can be made acceptable as a protectionist economic idea that serves business interests, but annoying treatment of legal and illegal migrants in the United States is not the best proposition that a government has.

Most migrants move to a foreign nation with economic aims. They live and work with utmost rectitude and serve the economic interests that they are part of. The US government should take into consideration the contribution that Colombian migrants make towards the economy and the human rights that they possess. Their human rights must be kept inviolable, and they must be treated with cordiality. Most migrants come with skills that are needed for the economy, be it for blue-collar or white-collar jobs. The migrants should be treated with respect that all men and women deserve. Migrant workers should be given appropriate visas, when required, in order to resolve the problem of illegal migration. The government apathy cannot be blamed on illegal status of Colombian migrants.

The US government has been considerably apathetic in giving the legal status to migrants which shouldn’t be difficult idea for a government. If the economy demands, labour pours in to fulfil the demand. The same rationality can be applied to the migrant labour. The US government would be well-suited to resolve the problem of illegal migrants with appropriate visa status that can be granted, as and when, they enter the United States. The economy and its needs must be made superior for the US government.
