The Sudanese Turmoil

Sudan has hit a turmoil again. The life and property that has been lost in the conflict between the Sudanese army and Rapid Support Forces remain unaccounted for. The international community must pay heed to the civil strife that has cost many lives and given Sudanese people bad days ahead. Most nations in Africa must aim for economic development, they must stabilize their polity and bring about a change in their politics. African nations, like Sudan, should not give in to the hate and divisiveness nature of violence within its territory.

Sudan must be supported by the international community in order to bring peace to the region and in building a stable polity. Groups, like Rapid Support Forces, must be made to bear the crimes that they have committed. The nature of polity does not allow incessant violence on citizens, and Sudan for all its political weaknesses mustn’t give in to civil strife. Nations, in Africa, must support the cause of nation-building and work as responsibly, as they must in order to make their polities safe. Sudanese army has regained control of the capital amid violence. Their hold on significant territory must be considered as justified and should be supported by the international community, including the African Union. Sudan must pay attention the growing crisis within its borders, and consider security as one of the ways to come to terms with the internal conflict. Human rights of Sudanese citizens must be protected by the government and all excesses caused by Rapid Support Forces should not be condoned under any political circumstances. Sudan, as a nation, should recognize the primary causes of its conflict and must work in order to resolve them. The lives of citizens should be safeguarded at all costs, and all assistance that is required for the purpose must be called for. Sudan must seek assistance from the African Union.
