A Political Agenda for Peace

Russia and Ukraine must come to the peace table and resolve their conflict. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has taken numerous lives and made countless homeless; men and women who should have decent lives and secure homes. Ukraine must accept terms of peace with Russia and give peace an opportunity to become a sensibility of life in the region. Ukraine must be asked by the international community to accept peace and come to the peace table with Russia, and resolve its conflict. The ongoing conflict between Russia has constantly proven itself to be futile, the loss of property and people should not condoned by the international community and all efforts must be used in order to bring the warring parties to the initiate dialogue with each other.

Most nations live in peace, they live in order to serve the social and economic aims that they have set for themselves, thus it must be for Russia and Ukraine. Russia must be asked to be more circumspect and given the nature of conflict, should work to enhance opportunities for peace. Russia should be given as much assistance as needed by the international community to bring peace to a closure. The peace deal must be accepted by the warring parties and international community must use its political acumen in order to fulfill the agenda of peace. Wars do not bring gains to the societies that they are part of. The loss of lives should be avoided at all costs, and warring parties must recognize the efficacy of peace.

Russia has been historically a significant nation. Russia must use its politics for the benefit of its people. Going to war with Ukraine or a sustained conflict isn’t in its best interest of the people of Russia or the region that Russia is intractably part of. Russia must use its resources for peace and economic development, and bring the conflict to an end. A protracted conflict with Ukraine is not in the best interest of its people, and world at large.

Ukraine must be treated fairly, and with respect by Russia, and it must consider its political obligations to be as useful as it should be for peace. Peace cannot be left aside in the conflict that has cost numerous lives of innocent men and women. Peace should be emphasized by the international community, and all efforts must be used in order to give it sustenance in the region.
