For An Urbane Economy  

Urban transport should be considered one of the major factors of development. India and other developing economies must invest more in urban transport and bring the comforts of efficient transport to its working population. The government along with the private sector must consider higher investment in the sector of transport. Better urban transport would increase economic productivity and can improve the economic conditions in urban India and other salient developing economies. An improved urban infrastructure should be considered a hallmark of serious intent of building a highly efficient economy.  India must invest in urban transport and bring about much required changes for its economy. Other developing economies should follow the same dictate of economic productivity, and invest more than they have in urban transport. A state-of-the-art urban transport should be considered significant in enhancing economic productivity and labour market participation.

India with its growing economy, must consider higher investment in sectors related to urban transport. Urban transport should be made at ease in cities and give working population more room and commercial viability for the work that they are involved in. Urban transport should be given attention by the government and the private sector. Cities in India and other developing economies need better urban transport mechanisms to function optimally and with higher productivity.
