A Considerable Advantage to Russia
Russian president’s visit has come to a close. Once again, Russia has reiterated its long standing wish to strengthen its friendship with India. Trade talks have been considered a success, keeping in mind the energy needs that India has in the twenty-first century. Two countries, have positioned themselves as strategic partners in defence cooperation and energy sectors. In future, India must build strong ties with Russia and provide more cooperation in the sectors that are beneficial to the Russian economy. India must position itself as a partner to Russian companies in sectors that are increasingly beneficial for the Russian economy, chiefly, in defence, tourism and energy. International cooperation on the long-standing disputes should also be considered an interest that binds the two countries together. Russia has promised to bring peace in the region, and settle its seething dispute with Ukraine. The ongoing war has killed thousands, and it concerns India’s values that promote peace and amity among diverse countries.
India has long cherished the values of peace and tolerance and has communicated the same to Russia. Peace must prevail soon and further loss of lives must be prevented with urgency of political effort in the Russian war with Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin has recognized the import of Indian values, the contribution of India’s values to the larger world and despite differences with Indian leadership, has promised to calm the storm of war with Ukraine. Russia and India must serve as a pivot of stability in the region. India must provide the sustenance of peaceful political values to Russia. Trade between Russia and India must become more significant and should be promoted by two governments. Economic freedom must be given to large, medium and small companies to trade with each other. Considerable advantage must be given, at this time, to the government in Delhi as they have proven themselves to be working in the interests of trade, which they must to make India an accomplishment.
