The Menace of Air Pollution
Air Pollution must be considered as a problem that ought to be resolved. Most environmental problems in Indian cities, including the national capital, have been caused to pollution, chiefly by polluting the air. Most recently, the Indian government has emphasized the need for improvement in Air Quality Index. One of the salient ways to solve the environmental problems would be to use polluter pays principle. Environment must be protected by the government as it sustains the humanity. Economy needs to use resources in order to build its economy, at the same time; environment needs to maintain its ecological balance. Inestimable pollution in air leads to poor health and other hazards in the working population. The working population in cities should be healthy, and fit for work, and should be given a safe and healthy environment to function in. Legal strictures must be explored by the stakeholders to resolve the menace of pollution.
Air pollution has caused considerable duress in the last years, and needs to be eradicated. The Indian government along with its partners must come with an environmental plan to solve the intractable problem of pollution. Environment must be protected in cities and the government has the obligation to provide a healthy and safe environment to its populace. The pollution causes severe health problems and must be decreased. Life is supported through nature, and it should be given the right, that it must have, in the twenty-first century. Environment should not be polluted unnecessarily, and if it has been, as seem to be the case in Delhi, then government must use leading economic principles to manage, and eventually resolve the pollution problem. The polluter pays principle can be a useful principle to sustain the pace of growth and minimize pollution. Pollution levels should not become intolerable in cities. Environment should be given the attention that it needs in the present hour, and should be legally stamped out.
