Iran Under Punitive Protest

Iranians are under protest again. The regime in Iran has been under challenge for the last few years. The recent protests have highlighted the weaknesses in Iranian regime. The protests have been considerably violent, and caused loss of lives and property. More than 70 officers have been killed and 2300 Iranian protesters have been detained. The protest might lead to political change in the Middle-East. The pace of the protests has accelerated in the last days and the loss of lives has brought the attentive nature of the protesters’ demand to the fore. The United States has warned of intervention, if the protests become more violent and unmanageable. The regime in Iran has been under stress and violation of human rights has led to recent political skirmishes. The government in Tehran has been vouching safety, but it has not placated the political demands that the protesters have. The protests have brought to the fore the differences that diverse political groups have with the Iranian regime. The recent protests have been as vociferous as the one in 2022-23. Iran is under duress due to economic problems that the country has been facing for a decade. The economic problems have not been resolved, and the political demands have not been met by the government in Tehran.

The regime in Iran must absolve itself and meet the political demands of the Iranian protesters. The values of freedom must be respected and salient factors of the economy should be given the attention that they appropriately deserve. The hard nature of the regime has been brought to the political table and the demands of the protesters must be met. Iran is a Shia-majority country and its politics has been troublesome internationally. The international community must consider the violation of human rights that the Iranian regime has been accused of. The human rights must be considered sacrosanct and the life and property of its citizens must be protected. The intervention, if it takes place, might cause significant damage to the Iranian regime. The international community must consider the severe nature of the Iranian protests and bring a semblance of political sanity to the Shia-dominated country. Iran must be answerable for the ongoing protests and explain the political dissatisfaction that has led to such uprising. The violent political protests cannot be overlooked and the fissures that it has caused should be made more understandable to the international community. Iran might see a new regime, if the protests do not quiet down in the coming weeks.
