The Systematic War

Russia has attacked Ukraine again, and on this occasion it has requested foreign nationals to vacate its capital city, Kyiv. The systematic strike that Russia would be attempting on Ukraine lately is a matter of grave concern. Russia and Ukraine must halt the war and focus on economic development of their respective countries. Russia and Ukraine are at war for quite a few years now which has not led to any decisive change in the region. The damage to property and loss of lives has been irreparable and caused sufficient harm. The support that Ukraine has from European allies has delayed the end of war. Ukraine should be more circumspect, and not use its friendship with Europe to dominate and foment war in the region. It would have been better if it had used the allocated funds for betterment of its people. Ukraine has been stubborn in the past, but it must relent now and call for peace, if feasible. Russia, on the other hand, is being driven by unnatural instincts of war. It should be more responsible and repose its trust on peace. Fighting a much-smaller country which for all practical purposes is being used as a proxy by its partners is not the best decision that the Russian leadership has taken thus far. The Russian leadership should be far-sighted and opt for peace.

Both the sides must be temperate in their political demeanours and allow politics to work. They must come to the peace table and negotiate peace at the earliest rather than losing more lives in the unrequited war. Wars do not serve any ends, and it’s quite similar in the case of Russia and Ukraine, and they must behave as responsible states and stop flagrant violation of international laws pertaining to relations between countries. The best nations are those that cooperate with each other and enhance economic opportunities for their citizens. Fighting a needless war in the Eurasian region does not serve any chief aims. It’s a war of bigotry that should be halted at the earliest possible convenience. Russia must understand that peace is a primary and higher proposition of living than war. It must choose to come to the peace table and invite Ukraine to stop the ghastly war that has killed thousands and maimed countless in its problematic path towards human rights violation. Russia and Ukraine must be asked by the international community to call for an immediate truce and not give in to the momentary political mayhem and cause further damage to each other’s interests. Russia must choose peace with Ukraine rather than war.
