The US Midterms Verdict
The midterms verdict is out in the United States. The Republicans have lost and Democrats have won. The Republicans have lost both House of Representatives and the US Senate. The latest elections have proven that better leaders are needed to govern an old republic. The American people have spoken loud and clear, they are not satisfied with American dealings around world, and within its borders. The verdict ought to be considered as a mandate that highlights the growing dissatisfaction with Trump presidency. The Democrats now control the US Congress, and should work in order to improve the lot of the people. Better economic and social opportunities with better healthcare, education system, and other means of living ought to be improved upon. The US verdict has an opportunity to turn tide in the world. The US with its economic aims must work in order to meet its economic agenda. The looming war with Iran is another cause of disenchantment that must be addressed. The US and Iran must abide by international laws and must adhere to it with severity of politics. They must aver on the Memorandum of Understanding that makes them better as nations. The two nations should not go for an imminent war and must adhere to norms that have been set in the international charters.
The US government would be well-advised to work with a new mandate that has been given to it in the American Congress. Most nations in the Middle-East might be wary of a war, and should be concerned about it in the next few weeks. The United States might play an exceedingly salient role in the Middle-East politics if the situation demands. The US government must work with inward-looking spirit of politics, and should not lambast the international demand of peace between nations. The United States has had a war with Iran and repeating the same in the Middle-East again might lead to growing political confusions that it has in the first place. The US government must acknowledge the verdict given to them by the American people; they seem quite disinclined towards another war and should be heard. The new verdict has brought out several astonishing factors. The Republicans have lost in their strongholds, and Democratic candidates have won where they could not have imagined. The new candidates have better role to play and should involve new set of policies and programmes to achieve their aims. The liberty has won and tyranny has failed. The new candidates from diverse backgrounds have entered the corridors of power, and have been given the mandate to work for people’s welfare. The United States being an important democracy has proven once again that the president’s choice is always not considered the best. Diversity has improved in the new US Congress, and new members have been given the justification to govern the nation. The midterms have come to a conclusion and next few weeks would decide whether US goes for a war with Iran or stays silently at home. The United States with its growing demands of economy must tilt the world towards global economic scenario, rather than another futile war that does not serve any domestic aims.
