To Save Tropical Forests
The world tropical forests have been saved more in 2025 when compared to 2024. The rise in anti-deforestation drive led by Brazil has been a major reason for this environmental gain. Tropical forests are essential carbon sinks that prevent pollution and are part of a healthy environment. The initiative by the government in Brazil must be lauded by the international community as it has protected the interests of the environment. Nature is under threat for quite long and for irreparable reasons, and its humanity’s responsibility to decrease that threat and make our planet more habitable. Reforestation and lesser desertification would be two important ways of coming to terms with the problems of environment. Environmental destruction must be condemned, and all serious work must be done in sincerity to protect the interests of the environment. The anti-deforestation drive that Brazil’s government’s has successfully proven should be emulated in other countries, if needed. Tropical forests should not only be left at the mercy of nature. Human intervention is a necessary condition to prevent climate change and the rising temperatures. The government in Brazil has proven that tropical forests can be saved and its loss can be made reversible. The salient point of intervention must be elaborated upon. The humanity must protect environment as there’s no third intervention apart from physical laws that can do the same for the environment. The excesses of carbon emissions and deforestation are some of the major problems that have led to rise in earth’s temperature and eventually climate change.
The world ought to be made self-reliant and renewable energy resources must be encouraged in order to make it safer place to live in. The governments around the world along with private sector must move towards cleaner forms of energy and pollute as less as conveniently possible. The world needs energy to function; it’s like an organism that requires food to sustain itself. The world economies’ needs seemingly come from energy resources. The energy must be made important factor of deliberation and cleaner forms of energy must be used in order to fulfil energy needs of the economy. The Brazil’s government has rightfully protected the tropical forests, developing countries must follow suit and learn from its leadership. Brazil’s leadership has been serious enough to tackle loss of tropical forests; other developing countries must do the same. Avoiding the problem of environment is not the best way to live with nature. Nature needs protection and mankind needs resources from nature to function and live well. It’s an interdependent relationship that must be acknowledged. Nature has given shelter to mankind for millions of years, now it’s the turn of humanity to protect nature and be as friendly to its concerns as feasible under the circumstances. Brazil has led the way in providing ease to tropical forests; the developing countries with their own aims of economic growth must recognize the same. They must acknowledge the importance of environment and the resources that it bestows on mankind and do all they can to make their economies environmentally-friendly in the twenty-first century.
