To Refrain from Attacks
Russia has killed five Ukrainians at Naftogaz Gas facilities in Ukraine. The attack has cut gas supplies for thousands of Ukrainians. Quite surprisingly, the two sides have not been able to come to terms with political acceptance. Peace would have been a better option between the two nations rather than rivalry. Russia must be asked by the international community to refrain from further attacks in the region. Cutting the gas supplies for thousands of Ukrainians is not the best course of action that it has decisively taken for itself. Russia must halt such surreptitious attacks on Ukraine, and give peace an opportunity to flourish. Peace and stability must be restored in the region with immediate effect, and all violence must be brought to halt. Russia has been at the forefront of attacks lately, and it must realize that violence in the region would harm its strategic interests in the region and in the long-run. Going to war with Ukraine was not the most excellent decision it had taken, and given the responsibility it has it should be eager to bring peace in the region.
The ongoing war with Ukraine must come to a halt and loss of lives must be made negligible. Russia should pay heed to international pressure, and not allow its military to browbeat politics in the region. Politics must be used to bring peace in the region and military must be kept enthralled till the barracks. Giving free rein to military is not the finest corrective measure it has taken with regards to Ukraine. The government in Russia must pay heed to peace and bring about a change in politics. Wars do not serve many strategic purposes, and all life that has been lost and damage to property becomes irreparable. The United States must emphasize peace between the warring nations and not allow commerce to bear the brunt of war’s agonizing effects. The European Union should also look into human rights violations that many have undergone in the garb of war. Human rights violations cannot be condoned and all life that ought to be considered sacrosanct cannot be made to be wasted. Russia must call for peace talks rather than allow its military to run the politics of the nation. Politics must be restored within the political leadership, and all that must be done politically should be made use of. Russian leadership in its right mind would call for peace, and restore normalcy in the region. Going for war was a risk it had taken which hasn’t worked to its advantage so far.
