The Political Marches

The rise of antisemitism must be curbed. Most countries that have been at the drawback of politics have seen rise in attacks on the Jewish minority groups. Be it Australia or most lately United Kingdom have seen attacks on innocent Jewish men and women. The governments of respective states must take into consideration the high risk that the Jewish population has to countenance due to sentiments that encourage antisemitism. The UK government has rightfully decided to ban pro-Palestinian marches, when needed, to curb anti-Jewish sentiments within their population. Israel’s problems must be dealt in Israel and not in the United Kingdom. The political marches that flout civic norms should not be encouraged, and blaming the whole Jewish Diaspora for politics of Israel and Palestine is not a fair game. The United Kingdom must curb political ideas that encourage antisemitism. Attacking an individual on the basis of religion should not be allowed. Every individual has a right to profess his religion in a democracy. The United Kingdom being a democracy should allow men of diverse religious backgrounds to practice their faith in full freedom. Pro-Palestine groups have no right or rationale to attack innocent men and women of Jewish backgrounds. It is not lesser than a crime committed on a community on the grounds of religion. The government in the United Kingdom must act swiftly and book the culprits. Allowing criminals to flout civic norms on the grounds of religion or politics should not be condoned.

The international community must take cognizance of rise in attack on the Jews. The ban on Pro-Palestine marches should be considered a welcome step by the standards of civility. Pro-Palestine groups commit the same heinous crimes that they fight against in Palestine. Attacking Jews will not solve their problems. They must disband armed groups and allow Israel to function normally and in safety of politics and democracy. They must also give-up on graft and become honest men and women leading their organizations. Only then they shall be able to bring justice to their group or brethren, as the seeming nomenclature might be. Blaming innocent Jewish men in the streets of London for their graft and inefficiency is not the best possible course of action that they have chosen for themselves. Pro-Palestinian groups must stop attacking Jews everywhere in the West, and bring about a change in their demeanour. They risk losing the sympathy of men and women who avowedly sympathize with their cause and would like to see justice restored for the majority of Palestinians. Palestinians must learn to live with diversity of a nation and not give in to tirades of victimhood. They must stand not only for their own rights but also for the rights that others hold for themselves. Palestine can only become a possibility with a two-state solution provided they recognize other people’s rights to coexist. People belonging to Israel or the Judaism should not be attacked or needlessly hurt, and made to bear the brunt of politics that they have no control over.
