The Melting of Glacier

Environment needs protection from mankind. The new report suggests that Khangri glacier in the Indian Himalayas is melting ought to be a cause for grave concern. With the rise in global temperatures, glaciers are paying a heavy price. The life that supports the planet ought to be sustained. The melting of glaciers due to rising temperature is an outcome of climate change. The mitigation and adaption measures must be introduced by the governments in developing and developed countries and the pace of climate change ought to be decreased. Nature has given life to humanity and now its humanity duty to protect its interests rather become derelict in its intent and careless in its efforts. Nature is an important factor of life for humanity and must be protected at all costs. The government along with the private sector must get their act together and make cities greener than they are in the first place. Green cities are better for environment and would aid in reducing carbon emissions that has caused the whole problem of climate change. The climate change with deforestation and desertification are some of the immaculate challenges that governments in developing countries have to come to terms with. The government must invest in greener economies in cities and help reduce climate change. Climate change might become hazardous if citizens are not protected from lethal gases in the form of pollution. The rise in temperature have led to melting of glaciers.

The overall reliance from fossil fuels must be substituted by nuclear energy and renewable sources of energy. More investments are needed in clean energy like nuclear energy and renewable resources. The melting of glaciers is merely a tip of iceberg in the climate problem which must be dealt forthrightly and without any undue interference or government lethargy. The climate change might cause considerable damage to nations, cities and individuals in the long run until acted upon in the present. More investment in clean forms of energy would lead to better and safer environment for work for all the citizens of a nation. The government must plan in accordance with its need, and should not allow every opportunity to act in favour of environment to go wasted. The government along with private sector must invest in nuclear energy and renewable resources and allow its citizens to live and work in a safe environment. Protected environments are the need of the hour and are required to foist the problem of environment rather than prolong it further. The governments in developing economies must invest as much as feasible in these two clean sources of energy, It must not allow opportunities to be wasted, and melting of glaciers should serve as a reminder to act swiftly and with a firm intent of protecting the planet. The needless lethargy would cost a vast amount to the exchequer, and developing economies might suffer economically due to inaction. The slow growth of economy can also be attributed to climate change as consumers get disturbed, and have less at their disposal. The climate change must be halted and made an adaptable phenomenon of nature.
